Earlier this month I enjoyed a delightful dining experience at Bellini's in Clifton Park. From the ambiance to the delectable food Bellini's is a winner.
Bellini's is an upscale Italian eatery that is very sleek and elegant with a contemporary flair. Great attention has been paid to all of the details. The main dining room has burgundy walls and their smaller dining room has gold walls that are reminiscent of Tuscany. Both dining rooms have mahogany tables and beautiful mahogany wall units that house there impressive wine collection. The lights are dim and very mood setting perfect for enjoying a delectable meal.
Bellini's is a beautiful restaurant but the real story is their incredible authentic Italian cuisine. We started our dining experience with three antipasti trio, bruscetta and arrosto gamberetto.. They were all exceptional. The trio was a caprese salad, veal meatballs, and a warm spinach artichoke dish. The meatballs were amazing in texture and seasoning. I am extremely fussy about my meatballs as I grew up with an Italian grandmother. Even Nonna would have loved these. The artichoke dip had a wonderful consistency and taste. The bruscetta is some of the best in our area. Everything was so fresh, the flavors really popped. The arrosto gamberetto was prosciutto wrapped around roasted jumbo shrimp sauted Tuscan beans and spinach. Wow! What an awesome combination of flavors. For our entrees we ordered pappardelle and rollatini. The pappardelle was a pasta dish made with seared chicken, asparagus, artichoke, and sundried tomatoes in a roasted garlic cream sauce. Again everything was delicious and flavorful with a creamy garlic sauce that was ideal in consistency and taste. The Rollatini was veal scaloppini rolled with prosciutto, mozzarella cheese mushrooms and basil in marinara sauce. It was a symphony of flavors. The veal was so tender and everything melted together into a wonderful explosion of tastes. It took me back to my Nonna's kitchen. To top off our dining experience we had a chocolate cake that was divine. Imagine a layer of moist dense rich chocolate cake topped with a chocolate hazelnut mousse crowned with a decadent chocolate ganache. Chocolate dessert does not get better than this.
Bellini's menu is extensive even offering a variety of Mediterranean heart healthy meals that are also delicious. They worked with a local MD and registered dietician so that everyone can enjoy a wonderful meal at Bellini's. They use only the highest quality ingredients and their food reflects it. The service is first rate and the portions are generous. If you want to enjoy a home cooked meal that Nonna would have loved, then enjoy your next meal at Bellini's.
