Venezia Pizza & Pasta is a wonderful, informal restaurant and pizzeria located right in Clifton Park. It's clean, the people are friendly, and most importantly the food is very good.
Venezia's menu offers Calzones, hot and cold subs, pasta favorites, Italian dishes, daily specials, and, of course, their very delicious and popular Pizza, available in regular, Sicilian, and white broccoli.
The afternoon I went to Venezia I had a few slices of their regular pizza with peppers, black olives, and onions, along with Chicken Parmigiana and a Cold Antipasto Salad. Yes, I had a friend with me; I did not eat everything myself, but it was tempting. I have to tell you, I always enjoy Venezia's pizza. It's fantastic. The sauce is very flavorful, and the pizza is not swimming in it. The cheese is perfect in amount and flavor and the crust is just right in consistency and texture.
The Chicken Parmigiana was very good. The chicken was tender a really nice piece of meat, and a very generous portion. Again, the sauce was very good, the cheese just right, and it was served with linguini on the side. The Cold Antipasto salad was great. It consisted of salami, provolone, ham, green and black olives, cherry tomatoes, hot peppers, pickled cauliflower and celery, all in a tasty Italian dressing that had a bit of a kick. Everything was fresh and enjoyable.
Venezia has been around for twenty years and it is easy to see why it is such a local favorite. Great food and service, a family friendly atmosphere, generous portions and reasonable prices. You can even order a Cannoli if you aren't satisfied with all the good food on the menu. Try Venezia, and enjoy an evening of good food with the entire family.
