Enjoy the start of our holiday season with the Victorian Street Walk Nov. 29 in downtown Saratoga Springs. Fun for the whole family. There will be Santa and Mrs. Claus, carolers, reindeer, Victorian strollers, music, food and entertainment.
November 29, 2007 marks the 20th anniversary of the Saratoga Springs Victorian Street Walk. Broadway will be closed from 5 PM to 10 PM. The festivities include the following: Santa and Mrs. Claus with live reindeer will be at the Hand Made Santa cottage in front of Putnam Market. The Festival of Trees, sponsored by Catholic Charities, will be at the Saratoga City Center.
There will be strolling musicians, and many in-house musicians throughout the town, including the Abundant Life Church Choir, The Skidmore Dynamics, John Cromie and Frank Jatlisch, Rick Bolton, the Dwyer Sisters, The Whippersnappers, Tim Wechgelaer Victorian Fiddle, Waldorf School Acapella Chorus, the Choir of Saint Peter, and more. It is a wonderful family event that has entertainment and festive spirit for all.
At the Children's Museum, there will be the Saratoga City Ballet Nutcracker Characters performing. Live reindeer will be at Santa's Cottage, and the Northland Newfoundland Dog Club will be at the Visitors Center. Join our fun-filled evening and get into the Holiday spirit.
